Hornsea Project 3 is a wind farm project being planned by Dong Energy and it is the potential project after Hornsea Project 2. The wind farm would sit next to Hornsea Project 1 and 2 and would become the largest wind farm in the world. The Project is at the Concept/Early Planning stage and there is no definite timeline for the Project at present. It has been indicated that any electricity generated could be brought into the Norwich Main National Grid substation and would come ashore at Weybourne. The total area of the wind farm could be 695km2 and the capacity might be around 2,400MW.
Number of Turbines: 400
