Triton Knoll

The Triton Knoll wind farm is a proposed 90 turbines farm. The turbines will generate 860 megawatts. The project is owned by RWE npower and Statkraft. The wind farm will cover an area of 146 km2 and the electricity that is produced will come ashore at Anderby Creek and connect to the National Grid at Bicker Fen in South Lincolnshire. The development will have 2 offshore substations. Initial onshore construction started in June 2018 and this included work to clear the path for the onshore cables to connect to the National Grid.
