North Killingholme Airfield

The former airfield in 2009

The airfield covers a large flat area of land situated to the west of North Killingholme. Its location makes it a prime opportunity for business and facilities, as the port and strategic road network are close by. Currently, the most of the site remains vacant with some development along the Lancaster Approach and runway/taxiway frontages.

There exists a 40 & 44 hectare site which is being advertised for lease, along with a 141-hectare site allocated for employment use in the current Local Plan. Recently, two 7 hectare sites received planning permission for storage and distribution uses.
